Smiddy Cottage is a traditional stone-built farm workers' cottage, sensitively and completely renovated to a high modern standard while keeping its historic character intact.

Set within two acres of pasture and woodland on the Tarbat Ness Peninsula, close to Portmahomack, the cottage looks out over a pretty enclosed garden toward open farmland and the Dornoch Firth, with distant mountains beyond.

Wood-effect tiled flooring runs throughout, the rooms are light and airy, and a wood-effect electric stove anchors the open-plan living space — a comfortable, homely base for a Highland holiday.
